My Small Acomplishments — Jounery of a Social Activist

Well, I don’t want to sound self-obsessed here. I just want to share the story of my life in which I stepped forward to do something for humanity. Since childhood, I always remained curious about my surroundings and try my best to change them in a positive way. I worked alone, sometimes with some organizations as a volunteer, but I kept trying to contribute to solving the issues of the world.

I may not yet be fully successful, but I believe that great success is a result of small efforts that you take in the right direction. This work requires time, energy & financial resources, and most importantly, you have to compromise on important things. But, I was raised in a family that does not allow me to think outside of the box and just advised me to focus on ourselves.

Life is quite straightforward here (in my family), you are born, you get an education, and after completing your education you search for a job. If you acquire a good job (rare chances), you get married (consent is given by your parents). Then you are only responsible for your family and after that, you die. This is like a circle, where one generation ends and the next generation follow the same traditions.

Seriously! I am not against my family values & traditions. But the fact is, I want to create a legacy that the last foreve. I don’t want to die without just raising my family. I believe I am responsible to do something for humanity. Therefore, I am in a struggle to create a positive impact in society. Our world is going through a lot of contemporary issues. Since childhood, I read and observed plenty of issues

Education & Heath issues
Social Injustice
Inequality
Terrorism
Climate Change

Therefore, in university, I decided to contribute anything to resolve these issues to the extent, I can. I started to do these things

started writing about social issues on the social media
joined organizations to work for social causes
got guest lectures on Volunteerism & Community Development
joined Youth Impact & Leadership Programs
enrolled me in courses on Social Development, Sustainability, Peace
registered for international programs

As a result of my these efforts, I received appreciation in form of certificates and I also won two international programs.

Well, I cannot describe the results of individual action, But I will say, I remain quite successful in creating a positve impact in the society. I joined Blood Donor Soceity in 2018
